Homing Coven is an on-going support e-space, where as a home for spiritually inclined people, we relate with one another, and with energies and spirits, to enrich our practice and seed tangible, desired change.
The spells you cast are woven with mine; magick, change and healing are sustained through the collective movement of re-membering home. Intuition and creative possibilities become a shared experience, where we can each perceive and express a part of the whole, and where we belong with humans and more-than-humans.
Between coven gatherings, group support sessions, events and seasonal / lunar celebrations, we have over 50 live sessions each year, offering a well rounded and supportive container for folks who are wanting to walk between the visible and invisible worlds, engaged in the being and doing instead of just the talking of magick and spiritual ritual, and building lasting allies.
Homing is the inherent ability to return to a place of belonging, through distant or unfamiliar areas. Honouring the symbol of home, we weave origin (earth, ancestral connections, myths and archetypes); family (identity, safety, and connection); rest (play and regeneration); devotion (purposeful esoteric work), and “breeding spots” (creating and contributing towards legacies of meaning and equity). Homing Coven helps you widen your animist interconnection to life, enrich your sacred practices, and regain a sense of commitment and kinship with self and others.
We are in a time of seismic transition...
As our culture sees things need to heal and change structurally and systemically, it is no coincidence that in the past decade we have witnessed a widespread awakening and a return to animism, herbal relations, witchcraft, and other ancient wisdom traditions. Yet, the load has largely been taken on by the individual. This is not only ultimately exhausting and isolating, but also ineffective in the long run, as the structure of esoteric work must be rooted in a sustainable ecosystem.
When magick and spirituality follows or mimics the harmful structures in our society, wellness cannot be the fruit it bears. As a lover-learner-mediator of the Unseen, I’ve been shown by the spirits that separation from body, from Earth, from humans and other beings, from spirits and other invisible entities is the root of suffering, be it loneliness, depression, burnout, and acts of harm. To further add to this, this separation is encouraged (and even rewarded) by the culture we live in, including within the structure of some spiritual circles, where there is pressure to perform to unspoken norms, extractive behaviour, and exclusion mechanisms.
HOMING COVEN is an e-community and e-gathering space where you recognize the sacred beings that you are, and your belonging in a network of ancestors, guides, the land and the Cosmos, and other humans. Within our virtual sanctuary and our ritual practices, find empowerment on your path of self-discovery and spiritual growth.

A Coven to Come Home To
An intimate community to engage in kinship and being part of a spiritual family with folks younger and older than you, of diverse heritages and backgrounds, from all over Turtle Island (North America) and around the world. Coven-mates will have the space to reinvigorate the meaning of building community, truly empower themselves and others through active animist-esoteric coven work, and compassionate co-care. Like a healthy home, the intention is to hold the energies of safety, connection, nourishment, rest and regeneration, and creating legacy in an inclusive and mutually responsible way.

Homing Coven live-stream gatherings (with recordings) include both larger-group coven gatherings and smaller group cohorts on a mostly rotating basis on Sundays from 10AM – noon PST. The larger-group Coven Gatherings are to hone in on practical mechanics that boost skills and capacities in esoteric work, deepen your animist wisdom and spirit connection, invite inspiration and guidance, engage in play and rest, and expand your trust in self and others. The focus will be real talk, real rest, real play, real work, via hands-on experience and experiment coven work that will shift your personal life and impact the collective.
You will notice a growing intimacy of your working knowledge and application of your skills in animist-esotericism while staying rooted and connected with each other in reality. Ideas and topics that coven-members are navigating around in their lives and in the collective will be woven in because magick is a practical and social tool.
In addition to larger-group Coven Gatherings (see above), Homing Coven members will also gather a few Sundays a month in cohorts / small groups, and meet virtually to engage in Yin and Yang-based esoteric practices. The setting of an intimate group space invites rooting, nourishing, and co-care in our coven work and lives in general. Prompts and guidance will be suggested, though never prescribed, leaving room for spontaneity and openness to what the Cosmos may want us to honour and explore at the given moments of the monthly cohort connections.
For folks who are used to solitary practice, the experience of being held and cherished will evolve how you approach magick. For folks who are caregivers and space-hold, this is your chance to take off all the “hats” you wear and simply be.
Ranging from upcoming live-stream topical or season-honouring events (such as Solstice, Lunar New Year forecasts, new topical e-courses, and Tea Sits from the highly popular Magick of Tea series), receive free access to these offerings.

The values of Homing Coven were not set by me— but by each of us as well as the spirits we each are working with. This more-than-human network is set to connect and reconnect each of us with each other, with the Unseen, to bring the inanimate within us back to life, so that we can honour the animate that surrounds us. What was remarkable through this process was that it included both members via the live-streams as well as those who tune in afterwards during their own time. We never did a “vote” in a conventional sense, but spent time sharing, listening, and asking questions to reach coherence and consensus. We were curious, open, yet clear in expressing our needs. The dictionary was consulted to find further inspiration of words and their energies, and the process felt exuberant and reciprocal. We discussed the practicality of values, how they could potentially stretch us while holding us securely, and how values (and magick) can be potentially interpreted differently based on personal experiences and bias (and what we can do about it).

My name is Mimi!
My name is Mimi Young, and I am a Taiwanese Canadian residing on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations – what is otherwise known as Vancouver, Canada.
I am also an animist spirit-medium and practising occultist, and my vision is to be a container and host for a group of aligned souls who are ready to not only continue their solo practice of magick and animist esotericism, but expand themselves by co-working with and co-weaving with others. As mentioned above, magick is a social tool, and when we shy away from social communion, we are limiting the profound healing, change, and intimacy that is available to us and through us. We do not need to live or perform our spells alone.

Though I’ve been aware of my psychic gifts my whole life, I began a conscious integration of myself through a chance shamanic encounter during five months of bedrest while pregnant with my second child. I also see my diverse career background in design, education, clean tech, and organizational management, as data points into an intersectional, contextual, and relational spiritual expression.
Whether you seek to walk with the Unseen through a plant potion from my SKIN + AURA COLLECTION, to study a single esoteric topic via my ON-DEMAND COURSES, or to enroll in a more in-depth magickal study through my MYSTERY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM or OTHER SERIES, my priority is to offer you grounded, practice-based expertise rooted in personal experience and ancestry. The Homing Coven is entirely online, with regular live-stream gatherings and recordings available for download so you can retain the learnings and replays of the experiences in perpetuity. Sessions are on most Sundays from 10AM – 12 noon PST, with seasonal / lunar celebrations that may fall another day / evening of the week.

Sessions are on most Sundays from 10AM – 12 noon PST, with some Sundays dedicated for larger-group Coven Gatherings and smaller-group cohorts. Some weeks may also include occasional seasonal / lunar celebrations that may fall another day / evening of the week.

- What’s your refund policy?
All sales are final, including if you miss sessions, fail to download the recordings, or if there is a misalignment of philosophical values. Before signing up, please determine fit by thoroughly reading the description about this coven and about working with Mimi. - What’s the cancellation policy? You can cancel your subscription anytime, though keep in mind the payment frequency when you had first subscribed. Your subscription will last until the end of that year or month at which point you will no longer be billed. In other words, if you decide to opt out and have enrolled via the annual subscription, your subscription will last for a full 12 months from when you first begin paying, and at the end of the 12 months, it will not renew again. If you signed up for the monthly subscription, and decide to opt out, you are free to cancel the subscription at any point, and your membership will last until the end of that particular month, and you will no longer be billed after the current subscribed month ends.
- Do I need to be well-versed in witchcraft, Tarot, animist / core shamanic work, and psychic abilities in order to join the coven?
While this coven will not be covering foundational esoteric craft and related skills, all are welcome to join as this space is focused on communal belonging and commitment to our personal and collective magick practise. This means that if you are new to animist esotericism, you may find this coven to be encouraging, filled with wisdom and helpful tips that can support you as you learn and deepen. (With that said, it’s encouraged to have some foundational practice; you may also find the Mystery Mentorship an enriching resource to learn esoteric work more formally). This also means that if you are a seasoned solo witch and wish to meet other seasoned practitioners, or wish to engage in “big sibling” energy, this is also a welcoming place for those needs and desires. Returning to the coven’s name, it’s about supporting your innate homing instinct, in the context of intuition, esotericism, and responsibility. - Will there be a new coven-mate orientation?
An email will be sent upon subscribing, with information, Homing Coven’s online cloud, the coven’s calendar for the Sunday Homing Coven Live-Stream Gatherings and Monthly Live-Stream Coven Cohort Connections, access links, and more. The coven will also welcome you during your first Sunday Coven Live-Stream Gathering. - I want to be mindful of my capacity or my shift-work schedule. What happens if I can’t “live” attend everything (or at all)? I’m not sure if I can do it all.
The coven follows a circular / spiralic model for our practices and commitments, and for this reason, we honour time differently; “getting ahead” and “falling behind” will not be part of our values, and your pace will be honoured. As each community session is recorded, you are able to revisit the materials anytime; the energy will be felt, and the fruits will be experienced whether you attend “live” or via the recordings. It is also NOT expected for anyone to do it all. This is the whole point of the coven. Instead, please grant yourself the permission and joy to participate in what you most need, are most curious about, and would like to see the most deepening / transformation. - Will there be the opportunity to work with Mimi 1-on-1 or in a semi-private capacity if I subscribe?

Part of what the witch stands for is universality and justice, a protecting of the common, the everyday people. Offering access while still caring for my life’s needs is not a philosophical exercise, but a very real and complex one. I do my best to be fair, considerate, and thorough in my work— referring to the content, the container it sits in, and how accessible the container is. Truthfully, a sliding scale pricing model is not something that any one-human business needs to offer, especially in the kind of capitalist economics that we live in. To offer a sliding scale is going against the grain on many, many levels.
Please select a contribution amount that best reflects your capacity to support my labour as a woman of colour. By valuing my work in the way you can, we can step into reciprocity which empowers me to continue to offer myself and my work to you at my fullest. For a sliding scale to work, the model relies on the principles of truthfulness, respect for nuance, and self-accountability. I do not ask for proof of financial hardship; I trust my clients to be honest. The type of model can only succeed when trust, accountability and integrity are the central values. Folks deserve access, and I deserve to get paid fairly.

Metal Level Coven Membership

- This pricing level reflects the true cost of this offering. It is the cost that I would charge in the absence of a sliding scale. For folks with financial security, own property or have personal/family savings, or who have other significant forms of privilege. This contribution type is also a way to actively and directly help with subsidising the costs related to the Wood-Level Coven Membership. It is also a way to make reparations.
Wood Level Coven Membership

- Note this reduced pricing is not a ‘sale’ or ‘discount’ or simply available because you don’t want to pay more. This pricing level represents a deliberate opportunity made for folks who face limited or burdensome economic realities. For anyone struggling to maintain access to basic needs, I hope to surround you with a community that honours your contribution just as much as the person who can pay at the Metal Level. Even when this adjusted pricing is still prohibitive, I offer Partial Ceremonie Scholarships from time to time, based on overall enrolment levels and my personal capacity.

As long as the Partial Scholarships are available, Partial Scholarships are granted (I do not ask for proof of financial hardship), with priority given to folks who are experiencing financial hardship AND with oppressed identities such as Black, Indigenous, Person of Colour, LGBTQIA2+, neuro-divergent, or have disabilities (different abilities).
